German Based Ghanaian Reveals The Amount Of Money He Takes As Salary As A Bus Driver

A Ghanaian resident in Germany, Richmond Osei, shared insights and revealed the kind of amount of money he receives as a driver in Germany.

According to him, despite facing initial challenges upon his arrival in the country a decade ago, Osei highlighted the substantial benefits of his profession in an interview with ZionFelix.

Initially supported by family in Germany, Osei underwent training to become a bus driver. He emphasized that his current earnings surpass the monthly salary of a Ghanaian minister. Residing in Germany for a decade, Osei has been driving a public bus for nearly four years, working up to 10 hours daily with a one-hour break.

While acknowledging the demanding nature of the job, Osei emphasized the importance of being smart. He expressed satisfaction with the job’s payment, noting ongoing efforts among bus drivers for a salary increase.

Osei also praised Germany’s robust healthcare system and mentioned additional perks such as free fuel, enjoyed as a bus driver. Overall, his experience highlights the positive aspects of his profession and the advantages available in Germany’s work environment.
